Terms & Conditions
Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Rosalie Physiotherapy. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking an appointment or receiving treatment. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Appointments and Attendance
Clinic Appointments:
* Punctuality: Patients are requested to arrive at least 5 minutes before their scheduled appointment time.
* Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to ensure subsequent patients are not delayed. The full fee for the scheduled session will still apply.
* Clinical Discretion: The clinician reserves the right to determine the most appropriate assessment or treatment strategy within the allocated time frame.
Home Visits:
The therapist needs a safe, clean, and smoke-free space. Please keep all pets in another room.Home Access: If the therapist cannot get into your home within 10 minutes of arriving, the session is cancelled and charged in full. Travel costs: If there are any parking fees, congestion charges, or travel zone costs will be added to your final bill.
2. Cancellation and Missed Appointments Policy
* 24-Hour Notice: We operate a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or change your appointment.
* Late Cancellations and No-Shows: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend a scheduled appointment, will result in a charge equal to 100% of the session fee.
* Insurance Limitations: Most private health insurance providers will not pay for missed appointments or late cancellation fees. In such cases, the patient is personally responsible for settling the invoice.
3. Fees and Payment Terms
* Self-Funding Patients: Payment must be settled in full on or before the day of the treatment session. We accept major credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
* Insurance Patients: If you are using private medical insurance, you must provide your provider name, membership number, and a valid pre-authorisation code prior to your first session.
* Personal Financial Responsibility: While we may invoice your insurance provider directly as a courtesy, you remain fully liable for any unpaid fees, shortfalls, policy excesses, or claims rejected by your insurer.
4. Informed Consent and Clinical Expectations
* Consent to Treatment: By attending the clinic, you consent to physical assessment and treatment by our qualified physiotherapists. You have the right to ask questions and withdraw your consent at any stage of the session.
* No Guarantee of Outcome: Physiotherapy involves clinical judgment and individual physiological responses. While we strive to achieve the best possible outcomes, no specific results or cures can be guaranteed.
* Patient Participation: Successful rehabilitation often relies heavily on adherence to home exercise programs and clinical advice provided during your sessions.
5. Data Protection and Confidentiality
* Privacy Compliance: We treat your personal and medical information with the strictest confidentiality. Your records are securely stored in compliance with applicable data protection legislation (including GDPR principles).
* Communication: By providing your contact information, you agree to receive essential operational communications, including appointment confirmations and reminders.
6. Patient Conduct and Safeguarding
* Zero Tolerance: We maintain a safe environment for our staff and patients. Any aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour will result in the immediate termination of the session and a permanent discharge from the clinic, with full fees remaining due.
* Chaperones: Any patient may request a chaperone if desired at anytime.
